By booking or participating in services offered through Tree of Life Journey, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

1. About Our Services

Tree of Life Journey provides personal development and reflective support services through one-to-one sessions and structured packages designed to support self-awareness, growth, purpose, and personal development.

Services may be delivered online via video conferencing platforms, including Google Meet, or through other agreed formats.

The intention of this work is to support reflection, growth, and forward movement in areas of life that matter to the client.

2. Nature of Services

Tree of Life Journey provides supportive, developmental conversations intended to facilitate reflection, awareness, personal insight, and intentional action.

Our services are not therapy, counselling, psychology, psychiatry, medical care, legal advice, crisis intervention, or any other regulated professional service.

If a client requires specialist support relating to mental health, trauma, medical concerns, or crisis intervention, we encourage seeking appropriate professional assistance.

Participation in services is voluntary, and clients remain responsible for their own choices, actions, decisions, and outcomes.

While meaningful progress may occur through this work, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

3. Eligibility

Clients must be 18 years or older to engage in paid services unless written consent is provided by a parent or legal guardian.

By engaging in services, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Bookings and Payments

Sessions and packages are booked through approved booking systems or direct arrangement.

Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Pricing may change from time to time, but confirmed bookings and agreed packages will remain at the price agreed at the time of purchase.

Package sessions must generally be used within a reasonable timeframe agreed upon at the start of the engagement.

5. Session Attendance and Rescheduling

Clients are encouraged to attend sessions at the scheduled time.

If you need to reschedule a session, at least 24 hours’ notice is requested where possible.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without communication, may be considered forfeited and charged in full at our discretion.

If Tree of Life Journey needs to reschedule a session, reasonable efforts will be made to provide notice and arrange an alternative time.

6. Confidentiality

Conversations shared during sessions are treated with care and confidentiality.

Information shared will not ordinarily be disclosed to third parties without permission, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is concern of serious harm to yourself or others.

Please note that while reasonable efforts are taken to ensure privacy during online sessions, no online platform can guarantee absolute security.

7. Client Responsibility

Clients acknowledge that meaningful growth and change arise through their own reflection, choices, and actions.

Tree of Life Journey provides support, perspective, challenge, and reflection, but responsibility for implementation and decisions remains with the client.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

9. Website Use

Content on this website is intended for general informational purposes only.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially use written materials, resources, branding, or intellectual property from Tree of Life Journey without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Tree of Life Journey shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from decisions, actions, or outcomes following participation in services.

By participating in services, clients acknowledge personal responsibility for decisions made during and after engagement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted under applicable South African law.
